Black Country Living Museum
The Spark Factory is both proud and delighted to be associated with the fabulous Black Country Living Museum. which is set in the heart of industrial history and growth in the UK. For the last 3 years, our Artistic Director, Charlotte Hughes-Martin, has been invited to BCLM to run glass art courses - glass fusing and glass engraving, both of which are proving very popular.
Black Country Living Museum is a 26 acre open-air museum, where you can experience the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the Black Country as you join in 300 years of history like no other. You can take a trip ‘Into the Thick’ of the underground mine, chat to the friendly characters, hop on a tram, explore the shops and houses, and enjoy live demonstrations as you discover the Black Country’s impact on the world.
